The cathedral, the cloister and the bishop's palace

71 churches, abbeys, bridges and hospices along the four French pilgrim routes to Santiago de Compostela, plus seven sections of the trail itself. Within the guide's area these include Saint-Sernin in Toulouse, the cathedrals of Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges, Saint-Lizier and Oloron, the Porte Saint-Jacques in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and the abbeys of Moissac, Conques and Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert.

Visit: Walk a day stage on the GR 65 or GR 653 – the scallop shell shows the way. Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port is the starting point for most people walking the Camino Francés over the Pyrenees.
