Guzet

Ustou, Couserans, Ariège

Guzet is a charming forest resort in the Couserans where wooden chalets are scattered among the spruces, with no high-rise buildings. The ski area has three sectors: steep Freychet for those who want a challenge, Guzet in the middle and gentle Prat Mataou for beginners. From the top you can see Mont Valier, the “lord” of the Couserans. Guzet often gets a lot of snow thanks to its position facing the Atlantic and has one of the oldest reputations in the Pyrenees for fine powder.
