The Couserans is the western part of Ariège – a green, sparsely populated landscape with 18 valleys, beech forests and small villages. The FFC area starts from Saint-Girons and has an unusually large number of black loops as well as its own enduro trails, e.g. the Enduro du Sourroque. A longer 117 km loop can be done over two to three days.
