Beret (Baqueira Beret)

Val d'Aran, Lleida (Catalonia)

On the broad high plateau of Pla de Beret, at Baqueira Beret's upper base, there is a marked cross-country loop of about 7 km. It passes close to the source of the Garonne and a megalithic monument. From here you can also follow the route towards the old village of Montgarri. In February the Marxa Beret is held, one of Spain's biggest cross-country races.
