Boí Taüll

Boí Taüll is the highest ski resort in the Pyrenees. The summit of Puig Falcó reaches 2,751 m, and the base is already above 2,000 m, so the snow lasts a long time. The resort opened in 1990 and has unusually many red and black pistes, plus 22 km of off-piste routes. It has several times been named Spain's best ski resort at the World Ski Awards. Down in the Vall de Boí are the Romanesque churches, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Bus
ALSA buses Barcelona/Lleida–El Pont de Suert. Limited services onwards into the Vall de Boí.
Car
N-230 to El Pont de Suert, then the L-500 to the Vall de Boí and the road via Taüll up to the resort. Approx. 1,500 parking spaces at the resort. The last stretch is steep and high, so bring chains.

TipsBuy your pass online. It is €3 cheaper than at the ticket office. It can be very windy at high altitude, so check the weather and which lifts are open before you go. Combine your skiing with a visit to the Romanesque churches in Taüll.
