- Route
- Arles → Col du Somport
The southernmost French pilgrim route: from Arles via Montpellier, Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, Castres, Toulouse, Auch and Oloron-Sainte-Marie up through the Aspe valley to the Somport pass (1 632 m). On the other side the Camino Aragonés continues via Jaca to Puente la Reina, where it meets the Camino Francés.
TipsMuch quieter than the Via Podiensis. The stage through the Aspe valley to the Somport is one of the most beautiful on any pilgrim route.
