- Cabo Higuer (Hondarribia) → Cap de Creus
Spain's answer to the GR 10: through Navarre, Aragon, Andorra and Catalonia, taking in Ordesa, Aigüestortes and the valleys of Andorra. More high mountains and fewer villages than on the French side – some stages end at an unstaffed hut, so you need to carry more. The weather is often more settled and drier than on the north side.
TipsThe best time is July–September. Plan your food shopping – there can be two days between shops in the central Pyrenees. Red-and-white waymarks, like the GR 10.
