Mijanès-Donezan

Donezan, Ariège

Mijanès-Donezan lies in the remote Donezan area, wedged between Ariège, Aude and the Capcir. The resort was created in 1961 and is small and good value, with both alpine and cross-country skiing from the same base. The pistes run through forest with wide views over the Donezan mountains. People come here for the peace and quiet, not for a big ski area.
