Le Mourtis

Le Mourtis is a small, quiet forest resort on a grassy plateau above Saint-Béat, and the Pyrenean resort closest to Toulouse. The pistes wind between spruces and pines, which gives good visibility even on a grey day. The first chairlift opened in 1965. Here you stay in chalets in the middle of the forest, and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

Train
liO train Toulouse–Montréjeau–Marignac-Saint-Béat. The free Vali bus runs from there to the resort via the Col de Menté (weekends and school holidays). Skirail package €39.50 (2025/26) with train, bus and day pass.

Free Vali ski bus from Marignac-Saint-Béat station via Cierp-Gaud, Saint-Béat and Boutx to the Artigue, Front de neige and Courraou sectors
Car
A64 exit Saint-Gaudens/Montréjeau, towards Saint-Béat, then the D44 over the Col de Menté. Winter tyres or chains needed. Parking at the resort's sectors.
