Bagnères-de-Luchon
Spa and mountain town, often a TdF finish
From the 2014 guide – ThomasThis is one of my favourite towns, a mountain resort with thermal baths. We were here on 21–22 July 2014.
Known as the Queen of the Pyrenees. Luchon's vaporarium is a natural steam cave – unique in Europe – in the Luchon Forme & Bien-être thermal baths. The gondola up to Superbagnères (1 800 m) leaves from the town.
Tour de FranceSuperbagnères was the finish of stage 14 of the 2025 Tour.
