Pal Arinsal

La Massana, Andorra

Pal Arinsal consists of two sectors above La Massana: Arinsal, with somewhat steeper slopes and a lively village, and Pal, with sunny, easy terrain close to the forest. The sectors have been linked by a cable car since 2001. The first lift in Arinsal was built in 1973, and Pal opened just under ten years later. The resort calls itself the most family-friendly in the Pyrenees and has many green and blue pistes, children's areas and ski schools. The 2025/26 season was a record year with about 460,000 skier days.

Bus
Andorra's scheduled buses run from Andorra la Vella to La Massana and Arinsal. The gondola from central La Massana takes you up to Pal.
Car
From Andorra la Vella via the CG-3 to La Massana (approx. 6 km). From there the CG-5 to Arinsal or the CG-4 to Pal and the Coll de la Botella. There are nine car parks with space for approx. 6,600 cars, most of them free. The car park at the gondola in La Massana is paid. Chains or winter tyres needed in snow.

TipsWith children, Pal is best. Start from the Coll de la Botella or take the gondola from La Massana. The Nord Pass gives unlimited skiing here and at Ordino Arcalís.
