Loudenvielle

The lake and outdoor activities of the Vallée du Louron

The village by the Lac de Génos-Loudenvielle in the Vallée du Louron is the valley's leisure centre. On the lake you can hire pedalos, canoes, kayaks and paddleboards, and there is trout fishing and a three-kilometre walk around the lake. Around the lake there is a treetop adventure park, a climbing crag, archery, minigolf, trampolines in summer and the Ludéo swimming pool. The Balnéa thermal spa is by the lake, and the Skyvall gondola takes you up to Peyragudes in nine minutes, where in summer there is a bike park, a 335-metre zip line, tubing and tandem paragliding.

TipsTake the Skyvall up and a mountain scooter or mountain bike down to the lake, and end the day at Balnéa. The village is also the starting point for the Col de Peyresourde and Col d'Azet climbs.
