Hautacam today is mostly a family-friendly four-season resort above Lourdes and Argelès-Gazost, with a small beginners' area for alpine skiing, mountain luge, tubing and snowshoe outings. Several of the old lifts have been taken out of service, so the skiing is limited. Its name is all the bigger in the cycling world: the Tour de France has finished here seven times, most recently in 2025 when Tadej Pogačar won. The views over the Lourdes plain and the Pyrenees are wide.
