Formigal

Valle de Tena (Sallent de Gállego), Huesca, Aragon

Formigal is the largest ski resort in Aragon and the largest part of Aramón's Formigal-Panticosa ski area. The resort lies at the Formigal development, founded in 1964 above Sallent de Gállego. The slopes spread across four valleys: Sextas, Sarrios, Anayet and Portalet on the French border. There are long, wide red pistes and plenty of off-piste. Formigal is also known for its après-ski. Official figures are only given for Formigal-Panticosa as a whole (182 km, 147 pistes, 38 lifts). The figures here for Formigal alone come from Skiresort.info.
