Font-Romeu is a sunny high-altitude resort on the Cerdagne plateau, known as a training base for elite athletes. Four lifts carry bikes up towards Roc de la Calme at over 2,200 m. The terrain is soft and rolling with pine forest, which suits flow and enduro more than steep downhill. There is also an XCO stadium that is open all year round.
