The spa town of Ax-les-Thermes, with its hot springs, is the base for this FFC area in the upper Ariège valley. The loops climb from the valley floor up to villages and summer pastures, offering both climbs and fine singletrack, e.g. 21 km around the Rocher de Miglos. The Grande Traversée VTT Ariège Pyrénées also starts here.
