Cerdanya is a wide, sunny high plateau at approx. 1,100–1,200 m surrounded by mountains – Europe's largest east–west valley, here in the Pyrenees. The loops start from Puigcerdà, Llívia, Bellver, Alp and La Molina and cross freely into the French Cerdagne. The abundant sunshine and gentle gradients make the area good for families, but there are also long singletracks for more experienced riders.
