The snorkelling trail at Peyrefite
France's first marine nature reserve
The Réserve naturelle marine de Cerbère-Banyuls was created in 1974. At the Plage de Peyrefite there's a marked underwater trail with buoys and signs – in summer you can borrow a snorkel and mask on site. The water is clear and full of fish.
