Espace nordique du Pont d'Espagne (Cauterets)

Vallée de Cauterets, Hautes-Pyrénées

Pont d'Espagne lies at about 1,500 m, 7 km above Cauterets, in the heart of the Parc national des Pyrénées. The trails run through pine forest and across open plateaux along the streams below the Vignemale massif. It is one of the cross-country areas in the Pyrenees closest to nature. The waterfalls at Pont d'Espagne itself are worth seeing in winter too.
