Around Quillan and the gorges of the Aude valley lies one of the largest waymarked MTB networks in the Pyrenees. The landscape alternates between beech forests, limestone plateaus and ravines such as the Gorges de Saint-Georges, and several Cathar castles are within reach. The Mediterranean climate means the season starts early and ends late.
