La Seu d'Urgell lies in the Segre valley just south of Andorra and has a sunny, dry climate that extends the season. The centre starts from the Parc Olímpic del Segre, where the canoe slalom events of the 1992 Olympics were held. The routes head out to mountain villages and vineyard landscapes and combine well with Andorra or Cerdanya.
